Rich, savoury and incredibly versatile, Royco Brown Onion Soup Mix is a South African pantry staple. Enjoy it as a warming bowl of onion soup, or use it to add flavour and thickness to stews, casseroles, gravies and sauces. Royco specifically recommends mixing the powder with a little water to create a paste for thickening stews.

Ingredients: Starch [corn and/or WHEAT (GLUTEN)], monosodium glutamate (flavour enhancer), potassium chloride, salt, hydrolysed vegetable protein (SOYA), flavourings, colourant (caramel), irradiated onion (2%) (preservative: SULPHUR DIOXIDE), vegetable oil (palm fruit, TBHQ), flavour enhancer, sugar, acids, irradiated herbs & spices, irradiated garlic.

Allergens: Contains WHEAT (GLUTEN), SOYA and SULPHITES. May contain MILK.

How to prepare: Stir the contents into 850ml water. Bring to the boil while stirring continuously, partially cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Serves 4.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
