Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept all major Credit and Debit cards. You can also pay by PayPal or ShopPay
When confirmation of order is received by you, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation that your order has been despatched. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
BILTONG & DRY WORS:
Please note that all of the cured meats continue to lose moisture and therefore weight, on an ongoing basis. The weights of the biltong and dry wors will be correct at the time of packing, but will probably have lost some weight by the time you receive them. This is a natural process.
FROZEN MEATS:
Please note that the boerewors and russians are generally sent to you chilled. If we do send the meats frozen, there is an outside chance that they may have defrosted by the time they reach you. If they have defrosted, they should be cooked within 48 hours.
Shipping And Handling
Delivery costs:
England, Wales, Scotland (excluding the Highlands and some other areas):
- orders up to 2kg including packaging - £6
- orders over 2kg including packaging - £8
- orders of £70 or more of goods - FREE DELIVERY
All other areas in the UK:
- orders up to 1kg including packaging - £6
- orders up to 15kg including packaging - £12
- orders up to 30kg including packaging - £24
- orders up to 45kg including packaging - £36

Europe & The Rest of the World: We no longer ship outside of the UK - apologies!
Delivery Schedule
Goods will be delivered by courier or Royal Mail to the chosen address or collection point stipulated by you between Tuesday-Saturday (except public holidays), as we ship orders Monday-Friday. Some of our couriers don't deliver on a Saturday, if it is not viable for us to send a parcel on a 24hr service on a Friday then the parcel will be sent the following working day.
Provided that items are in stock, delivery to UK mainland addresses is usually within 2 to 7 working days after your order has been placed. We will always endeavour to get your goods to you as quickly as possible.
If any of your items are not in stock, we will contact you by email, phone or text.
If nobody is at your delivery address when your order is delivered, your goods can be left with a neighbour; left in a secure place or taken to the courier’s nearest depot, in which case you can arrange for collection or re-delivery.
