Bring one of South Africa’s most iconic dishes to the table with Royco Traditional Bobotie Cook-In Sauce. This convenient seasoning mix creates the warm, aromatic, gently sweet and savoury flavour of traditional bobotie – simply add mince, onion, raisins, chutney, milk and eggs for an easy family meal finished with its classic golden egg topping.

Ingredients: WHEAT flour (GLUTEN), flavourings, modified starch, sugar, breadcrumbs (GLUTEN), maltodextrin, potassium chloride, monosodium glutamate (flavour enhancer), vegetable oil (palm fruit, TBHQ), salt, irradiated herbs & spices, acid.

Allergens: Contains WHEAT (GLUTEN). May contain MILK and SOYA.

How to prepare: Add 2 tbsp oil, 1 onion, 500g mince, 50g raisins, 250ml milk, 2 tbsp chutney and 3 eggs. Prepare the mince mixture, top with the beaten egg and milk mixture, then bake at 180°C for 30–40 minutes until set.
