Nice ’n Spicy Balti Butter Chicken – 15g

Creamy, gently spiced and full of warming flavour, Nice ’n Spicy Balti Butter Chicken makes it easy to create a rich, comforting curry at home. Designed for traditional Balti-style cooking, the layered spice blend builds flavour throughout the dish and lets you adjust the heat to your taste. Add chicken, yoghurt, cream, tomatoes and a handful of nuts for a beautifully rich curry serving around 4–6 people.

Ingredients: Spices and herbs, salt, WHEAT (GLUTEN).

How to prepare: Heat butter and oil in a heavy-based pan or wok. Sauté chopped onion, garlic and grated ginger with the top spice layer until golden, using less for a milder curry. Add 500–750g chicken and the second spice layer and stir-fry until browned. Add chopped tomatoes, plain yoghurt, chopped almonds or other nuts, salt, sugar and the third spice layer. Cook until the tomatoes are absorbed and the sauce thickens. Lower the heat, add fresh cream and the bottom spice layer, then simmer for a few more minutes. Finish with fresh coriander.

Serving suggestion: Serve over rice or noodles with your favourite traditional curry sides.
