The seasoning behind proper South African-style biltong. Crown National Safari Biltong Seasoning is a classic blend designed specifically for curing and seasoning biltong, combining savoury spices and flavourings to give the meat that distinctive, deeply seasoned taste. Ideal for anyone making their own biltong at home or producing larger batches, with this generous 2kg catering-size bag going a long way.

Ingredients: Maize flour, maize meal, sugar, MSG (flavour enhancer), hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm fruit), flavouring, acidity regulator, flavour enhancers, spices (CELERY) & spice extracts, anticaking agent, spices & spice extracts, colourant.

Allergens: Contains CELERY.

How to use: Cut the meat into strips and weigh. Use 45g seasoning per 1kg of cut meat. Optional: add Worcestershire sauce or vinegar at 50–100g per kg of meat. Mix the meat and seasoning thoroughly, cover and refrigerate overnight, then hang to dry.

Storage: Store in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight. Reseal after use.
